Office Administrator

Main Role Responsibilities and Progression:

  • Monitoring communications and making sure response is directed to the relevant people.

  • Respond and liaise with customers, suppliers, and others as appropriate.

  • Supporting business arrangements such as, bookings and meetings.

  • Communicate effectively with the wider members and management when required.

  • Liaising with external clients on behalf of the team when required.

  • Controlling Directors diaries

  • Maintain the day to day running of the office

  • Stock Management

  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

Your Attributes, Abilities/Knowledge:

  • Organised and focused.

  • Provide a professional manner and be a confident communicator.

  • Preferred understanding of Admin work.

  • Lead by example and willing to support team in a 'hands on' manner.

  • Highly organised and strong administration skills.

  • Experience of Microsoft Office & Excel

  • Must possess understanding of email, word processing & spreadsheets

Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Main Role Responsibilities and Progression:

  • Management and reporting duties required and expected as assistant quantity surveyor

  • Commercial control and support to the project teams, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements

  • Work on multiple projects as required by the company to meet delivery of projects

  • Ensure optimum commercial return is achieved for the projects

  • Assist with preparing the cost / value reconciliation reports accurately and in accordance with company procedure.

  • Prepare and agree interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best commercial advantage for the company.

  • Prepare, and in conjunction with senior management agree final account with client`s representative.

  • Agree final accounts with subcontractors and consultants to maximise project margins.

  • Ensure sub contract orders are prepared in accordance with company procedure with reference to the date given on the procurement schedules and / or in accordance with the contract programme having achieved the   appropriate approvals.

  • Maintain control of sub contractor`s accounts and minimise the cost of any variations.

  • Liaise and collaborate with the construction and design teams in all aspects of contractual activities.

  • Assist and support the Head of Commercial / Construction as and where required

  • Manage, track, control and own multiple work items including providing weekly status reports
